How it works
Six tries, five letters, one word a day. The rules fit in a paragraph, which is the point.
Colours
| Colour | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Green | Right letter, right spot. |
| Amber | Right letter, wrong spot. |
| Grey | Not in the word at all. |
Streaks
Finish the board and your streak grows by one. Miss a day and the sprout resets — no penalties, no ads begging you to come back.
Word list
Common English five-letter words only: no plurals of plurals, no proper nouns, no abbreviations. About 2 300 words in rotation.
Accessibility
Colour is never the only signal — solved tiles also carry a letter-position marker for screen readers.
